New Developments and New Sections in Existing Neighborhoods

New home construction is really starting to gain momentum as the greater Austin real estate market continues to outpace supply of inventory homes.  The past 18 months have been great for sellers of real estate as prices have increased due to limited supply and an influx of new residents taking advantage of the superior jobs market of the area have made multiple offers an almost norm when listing property. Meanwhile, new home builders have been reluctant to over-build like they did in 2008, so they have been much more cautious in developing new neighborhoods.

That seems to be changing.  There are several new neighborhoods and new sections and phases to established neighborhoods that are coming online over the next few months.  One common thread these developments share is that they are all mid- to high-priced homes, geared to the mid-life professionals with families.  These are not starter home neighborhoods.  Over the next few weeks I will start to highlight each development individually, but here is your sneak peek:

Round Rock ISD:

  • Trailside at the Ranch at Brushy Creek
  • Northwoods at Avery Ranch
  • Preserve at Mayfield Ranch

Leander ISD:

Georgetown ISD

  • Sage Creek at Teravista
  • The Park at Wildflower Trace at Teravista
  • Water Oak
