Neighborhood Spotlight: Water Oak at San Gabriel

Water Oak at San Gabriel is a brand new master planned residential development in Georgetown that offers quality homes coexisting in a very scenic and natural environment. The first section of new houses are being built near the Highway 29 entrance of the community.  Per the development plan, the development will span the San Gabriel River from Highway 29 to FM2243/Leander Rd on the west side of Georgetown. Hike and bike trails and greenbelt preserves will wind through the neighborhoods making it a great place to live and very walk-able. Homes in this community will feed into the Georgetown ISD.

Water Oak at San Gabriel Location

This huge development is located between Highway 29 and FM2243/Leander Rd about 4 miles west of Interstate 35. The first phase of construction is occurring at the north end of the development off Highway 29. The entrance in about 1/2 mile east of the Cimmarron Hills neighorhood/golf course.

Water Oak at San Gabriel Schools

One of the biggest drivers for people moving to Georgetown is the country like living that has high quality schools and is still close to retail and other destinations around Austin.  The Georgetown ISD is a recognized school district that is consistently ranked.  Residents of Water Oak at San Gabriel will send their children to these schools:

  • Carver Elementary
  • James Tippit Middle
  • Georgetown High

Water Oak Real Estate Agent RealtorThis community is relatively new and is still building out Phase-I.  Currently only three new home builders are selling houses in Water Oak: Grand Haven Homes, Wilshire Homes, and Scott Felder.  The price range for new houses in this area is $300k’s to $500k’s with the size of homes ranging from 2000 sqft to 4000 sqft.
