Neighborhood Spotlight: Sendero Springs

Sendero Springs is an expanding residential development in the Round Rock ISD that really has a lot going for it. New houses are still being built, great amenities through the Brushy Creek MUD, and great schools.

Sendero Springs signThis neighborhood is located on the south side of FM-1431, roughly 2 1/2 miles west of Interstate-35.  This puts Sendero Springs within short driving distance of the University Blvd attractions such as the outlet mall, IKEA, new hospitals, and higher education facilities.  A new HEB grocery store is also being built next to the outlet mall.

Sendero Springs Schools

One of the biggest drivers for people moving to Round Rock is the high quality school system.  Round Rock ISD is an exemplary district that is consistently recognized as high performing.  Sendero Springs is in the Round Rock ISD boundaries, and residents in this neighborhood send their children to these schools:

  • Cactus Ranch Elementary
  • Walsh Middle
  • Round Rock High

Amenities available at Sendero Springs

Sendero Springs features the standard amenities of a medium-sized residential development.  There is a large community pool available to use in the hot months and playscapes for the kids to enjoy.  A nice walking/jogging trail circles the eastern side of the neighborhood and ties into the Walsh Ranch and Behrens Ranch trail systems for miles of enjoyment.

This community has been established for a few years, but a new section is still being built out.  Currently only Streetman Homes is building houses in Sendero Springs.  The price range for new houses in this area is low $200k’s to $400k with the size of homes ranging from 1770 sqft to 3480 sqft.

Often we can find previously owned homes listed for sale in this neighborhood located in the earlier phases.  Streetman does not tend to build too many ‘spec’ homes.
