Avery Ranch is a large master planned development in north Austin, the southwest corner of Williamson County.  It spans across two school districts, both Round Rock ISD and Leander ISD.  Parmer Lane bisects the neighberhood going north and south, and Avery Ranch Boulevard going east and west.  The highly regarded and well maintained, semi-private Avery Ranch Golf Club anchors the neighborhood.

The Leander ISD section encompasses all homes west of Parmer Ln and the Champions and Brookside sections east of Parmer Ln on the north side of Avery Ranch Blvd.  New homes are still being built in the Leander ISD boundary at the western edge of the neighborhood, closest to the new 183A toll road.
