Neighborhood Property Values

Your property value is likely a significant percentage of your financial assets. As with any investment, it is always nice to have a ballpark estimate of what it is worth and how quickly you could sell if needed.  The best method to know for sure would be to hire a professionally licensed real estate appraiser, who would go through a methodical process of coming up with a value.  But that could start getting expensive if you just want to know roughly where the market stands.  Real estate agents use comparative (comps) listings and sold information to come up with rough value estimates.  At the end of the day, your house is only worth what someone is willing to buy it for.

If you are looking to buy a house, this information can also be very useful to understanding if your purchase will be a good investment.  When you use me as your buying agent, I can provide much more detailed comp data to make better contract offers.
